BLOWING ROCK, N.C. — The Peoples Alliance for American Liberty (PAAL), which was formed in Watauga County in 2010 and is “committed to defeating Amendment One,” will host a reception for those committed to marriage equality in North Carolina on March 18, 3-5 p.m., at the Westglow Resort and Spa, 224 Westglow Cir.
Complimentary hors d’oeurvres and wine will be served. A cash bar will be provided.
A $100 contribution is suggested for those who attend. The funds raised will go for campaign efforts against Amendment One.
PAAL believes it is “morally wrong to use our state’s Constitution to deny rights to any part of our people.”
