Where is the separation of church and state if the only argument here is that of “GOD”. And Last I checked, he wasnt returning anyones calls. I am actually a straight male happily married to a straight female, but in my opinion (by opinion I mean my own personal view based on observation and experience, not some belief that I am trying to push off on everyone else) people should have the rights and benefits of a union regardless of sex, race, or religion. If you are afraid that saying it is ok is going to de-stabilize the religious growth of the youth of the nation. Well primetime tv reality shows and the Church in general for that matter have already done a good job of it.
