KITTY HAWK, N.C. â€” The benefactor of OBX Pridefestâ€™s fundraising efforts, held June 13-17, is Brandonâ€™s Beacon of Hope-HIV-AIDS Foundation. By helping to provide necessary assistance to those living with HIV/AIDS, it helps to give a more local resource for itâ€™s client base.
During OBX Pridefest, participants may enjoy a movie night featuring â€śFor the Bible Tells Me Soâ€ť on June 13 at 7 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church; catch a presentation of â€śThe Lost Colony,â€ť an outdoor historical drama, on June 14 at 8:30 p.m., an afternoon at the beach from 6-10 p.m., a Pride & Joy Booze Cruise aboard the Crystal Dawn at 6 p.m., Michael Walters one-man show on Jun 15 at 10 p.m., Gay Pride Festival on June 16 from 12-6 p.m., plus a plethora of other activities.
