VIDEO: Carolina Chocolate Drops to perform at Mint Museum

The Carolina Chocolate Drops, an old-time, African-American string band based out of Durham, N.C., will perform at Charlotte’s Mint Museum Uptown on June 27, just two days before their performance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn. The band will perform during the opening ceremony of the museum’s new exhibit, “Hard Truths: The Art of Thornton Dial.”
