LENIOR, N.C. — Silviafest will be held on Aug. 11 at Starlite Trailer Lodge, 5955 Globe Rd., Lenoir, N.C.
This music festival will feature Christabel & The Jons, whose style is comprised of arranged jazz standards, western swing and classic country for a sound they call “Tennessee swing.” They take the stage at 7 p.m.
Attendees are asked to bring a side dish for 10 to accompany the meat entrée provided by event promoters.
Artists are invited to share their showcase their wares before the show. Contact Beth at 317-410-6955 to learn more.
Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments for a jam session prior to the main event.
Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Collettsville Volunteer Fire Department. A 50/50 raffle will be the means to raise these funds, with half going to a lucky winner and half going to the fire department.
Since space fills up fast, be sure to contact the promoters and the campsite to make reservations quickly.
Visit starlitelodge.com for get rates and information and to secure a spot.
