CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Human Rights Campaign welcomed convention delegates and guests as well as local supporters on Tuesday evening with a reception in downtown Charlotte. Both current HRC President Chad Griffin and former leader Joe Solmonese were at the event, as were several local members of the group’s board of governors, delegates and elected officials. Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank stopped in, as did Oregon U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden.
