Updated: September 6, 2012 at 9:31 pm
Dr. Jill Biden, America’s Second Lady, addressed the delegates and attendees of the Democratic National Convention tonight. Biden emphasized her roles as a military mother and teacher at a community college in Northern Virginia, where she still teaches full time. “For me, being a teacher isn’t just what I do. It’s who I am,” said Biden. She also highlighted the authorship of the Violence Against Women Act by her husband, Vice President Joe Biden. Dr. Biden also spoke earlier today at the Democratic Party’s LGBT caucus.
