Tuesday, Nov. 6 is election day. This year’s ballot includes races ranging from president and governor to state legislative races and local county offices. Polls consistently show a tight race between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney. In North Carolina, Republican Pat McCrory leads Democrat Walter Dalton in the gubernatorial race. All campaigns are hoping for high voter turnout.
