Charlotte LGBT center updates street address
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After a smooth and successful move into their new location earlier this month, the LGBT Community Center of Charlotte has announced it has secured a new street address: 2508 N. Davidson St., Charlotte, NC, 28205.
Their new location on N. Davidson St., near the popular Amelie’s French Bakery, was originally addressed to 617 E. 28th St. Center board members reached out to local government agencies and have successfully secured their new street address.
The new address, said Center Administrator O’Neale Atkinson, will more accurately reflect the center’s location and make it easier for community members to find. It will soon be updated for postal service and other needs, he said.
The address already displays properly via online mapping services from Google, Yahoo and Bing.
