Thursday: Free forum on LGBT domestic violence

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Chi Psi Omega Fraternity, an organization for lesbian women in Charlotte, will hold a free panel and forum discussion on domestic violence within the LGBT community. The event will be held tonight at the LGBT Community Center of Charlotte.
The discussion will cover several topics, including domestic violence facts and how couples can maintain healthy relationships.
Panelists for the event include Safe Alliance Shelter for Battered Women Coordinator Jane Taylor, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Women’s Commission member Susan Hudspeth, Mecklenburg County Assistant District Attorney Jamie Adams and Linda Dixon-Fox, CEO and founder of No More Tears.
