The Fund’s grant categories include: Community Connections Grants with up to $5,000 for the creation of programs, projects and events that address the mission of the Fund; Basic Operating Grants providing unrestricted operating funds to build non-profit community groups’ capacity; and ADAM Queer Youth Initiative Grants with awards up to $4,000 to projects targeting or serving LGBT youth of color, young women, transgender, gender-nonconforming youth and low income youth.
An information workshop for applicants will be held at the Foundation For The Carolinas, Jan. 30, 4-6 p.m., 220 N. Tryon St. This year’s application deadline is March 1.
