  • Traveling is so expensive now. I’ve got a couple of places to go soon… one conference in August and hopefully another in September. I’m saving all my change and putting extra away. I’m even planning on changing my tax dependents so I can keep some of that interest free loan to the government for myself.

  • I drive all over for work and it’s getting to the point where I’m scared I will no longer be able to keep prices as they are. I will have to go up on my rates right when everyone is trying to cut costs. This is a downward spiral if I’ve ever seen one.

  • Gas prices are setting new records every day. The Saudis — you know, our *wink* friends in the Middle East — refuse to increase oil production to bring down costs, and the Bush administration doesn’t have a clue how to deal with this mess. Or, maybe they just don’t want to have a clue. The Bushes and their cronies are oil barons so this crisis is putting a lot of money in their pockets. God Bless America…*sigh*

  • I’m going to buy a donkey. Cost of food goes in one end and fertilizer comes out the other. Other than the donkey farting and ruining the ozone…I am going to consider myself “going green”. Perhaps when Obama becomes “Lord President” and all of his fairy dust has been expelled to all the masses, gas will come down in price. Then I can get an Escalade and the donkey can retire. Bet I will have some green grass…huh?
