High Country Pride announces event details

Festival takes place June 13-14

BOONE — The High Country Pride organizers have announced event details in their annual summer event, to take place June 13-14.

The events include a downtown “Pridewalk,” on Saturday, June 13, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m, a generations DJ dance for all ages on Saturday night and a family picnic on Sunday. A $10 ticket pric includes admission to all events and can be purchased online at www.BoonePride.org and the Saturday Pridewalk.

Proceeds from High Country Pride 2009 help Boone Pride Inc. as they donate annually to the local public library, give a student award, produce community events, and continue to support local programs. Boone Pride Inc. is a completely volunteer-staffed 501(c) 4 non profit civic league and depends on your support and donations.
