Not only is it the start of Pride Month, but <a href="http://www.mombian.com/2009/05/12/blogging-for-lgbt-families-day-2009-win-registration-to-family-week-in-ptown/" rel="nofollow">the date sits almost exactly between Mother's day and Father's Day</a>. (This year's list of participating blogs is <a href="http://www.mombian.com/2009/06/01/blogging-for-lgbt-families-day-2009-contributed-posts/" rel="nofollow">here</a>. I'd be delighted if it evolved into a broader celebration of LGBT parents. That’s exactly why I chose to hold my Blogging for LGBT Families Day (which just celebrated its fourth year) on or around June 1.
