Kudos goes out to Revolution Restaurant in Durham. This new restaurant has taken the initiative to reach out to the LGBT community for job openings. In a time when most LGBT folks can be fired for the sexual orientation and gender-identity, it’s a welcome change to see a businesses go looking specifically for LGBT employees.

Here’s the job announcement, as it appeared in NC Pride’s weekly newsletter, Triangle Local Events:

“Wait Staff needed for a chic new restaurant in downtown Durham. Call for appointment at Revolution Restaurant, 107 W. Main St. Durham, NC phone: 919-956-9999 (be sure to tell them you saw the announcement [in Triangle Local Events])”
