A review of area non-profit organizations and their financial health and their works

Local and regional LGBT non-profits have experienced mostly positive growth in revenue and community support over the past several years, according to data reviewed in qnotes’ fifth annual Community Assessment Survey.

frontpage_medThe survey is designed to gauge community organizations’ financial health and measure their commitment to transparency. This year, qnotes reviewed 18 non-profit organizations based in the Carolinas and doing the bulk of their work in the region.

In addition to our usual annual reporting, the newspaper looked at six-year data for five organizations and delved into research on the giving patterns of major donors.
