On May 10, “Dykes To Watch Out For” cartoonist Alison Bechdel announced her signature cartoon series would be going on an “indefinite hiatus” while she works on her forthcoming book.
“Dykes” has long been a favorite of Q-Notes and other LGBT publications’ readers for many, many years. While we wish Bechdel the best of luck in her new journeys, we’ll also share in the sorrow of losing our favorite tales from the land of “Dykes.”
