Candidates for mayor, city council and school board in Charlotte turned out to the joint MeckPAC-Charlotte Business Guild candidates reception at the Lesbian & Gay Community Center on Oct. 14. View photos from the evening here.
Despite a cold and rainy evening, approximately 60 or more citizens gathered to meet a dozen or so candidates and hear MeckPAC’s announcement of this year’s general election endorsements. Q-Notes will report the endorsements when the organization makes them available online.
Both Republican John Lassiter and Democrat Anthony Foxx, candidates for mayor, attended.

QNotes explores two urban homes and gardens in our "Springtime in the City" issue, plus news on openly gay candidates, legislative updates and regional news from the Carolinas and abroad.
