The most recognizable and accomplished feminist thinker, writer, activist and lecturer of the past fifty years, Gloria Steinem, will be in Raleigh and Chapel Hill, November 7.
On November 7, 2009 NARAL Pro-Choice North Carolina will be hosting Gloria Steinem for two events. The main event will be a lecture at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh at 1:00 PM. The church is located at 3313 Wade Avenue in Raleigh. Ms Steinem will address a crowd of approximately 300 guests. Tickets range in price from $20-$50.
Among her many accomplishments, was her role in co-founding Ms Magazine, creating “Bring your daughter to Work Day” and writing numerous books including “Outrageous Acts.” For more on her bio visit www.ProChoiceNC.org.
