Rent it!
CHAPEL HILL — Company Carolina, an unaffiliated student-run theater troupe on the campus of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, mounted a production of “Rent” on Nov. 6-8 and 12-14 at the school’s Forest Theatre.
This group exists in part on general funding from the Student Congress. In the last number of years, it has had to subsist on a miniscule budget.
“Rent” was an ambitious effort. Company Carolina sought support from the community in order to help defray costs.
