In order for this to become legislative reality, those of us in the LGBT community and supporters of equality must lobby our local Senators and Reps. We need to let them know we stand on the side of justice and ask them to stand up with us for human rights and dignity.This will be a hard fought battle in the Congress. many ultraconservatives are already rallying against change, but we can make a difference. Dont let this monumental battle for human rights go by without you speaking up. It is not enough for our President and military leaders to speak out against DADT.
