Games start at 7 p.m. Admission of $20 buys eight rounds of bingo. Concessions will be available. Tickets, which are expected to sell out quickly, are on sale now using check or cash only at Yum Yum Foods to Go in Foscoe, Earthfare in Boone and Neaco in Blowing Rock.
The next day on June 12, Appalachian State University (with funding in part by the North Carolina Humanities Council) will sponsor a free symposium, “We are Family: Untangling the Interwoven Connections and Disconnects of MountainQueers.”
