Alan Cumming, actor, gay rights campaigner and Scottish actor, has announced he will become a U.S. citizen. His purpose? Vote for Obama.

Cumming announced his intention speaking at the Democratic National Convention, according to PinkNews.co.uk.

“I’ve got the questions and the answers,” he said. “Now all I’ve got to do is memorise them. It’s just like learning a lot of lines, so I kind of think that as an actor, I’ll be better prepared than most.”

PinkNews found sample questions for the test Cumming will have to take prior to having citizenship granted. “Sample questions from the test, available on the internet, include: when is the last day you can send in federal income tax forms?, what did Susan B Anthony do? and why does the flag have 13 stripes?”
