yet we don’t demand the same from our groups whom are willing to throw a large part of community under the bus when they need to… MMM like with the HRC throw the Trans-community under the bus to same DOMA or was it ENDA.. anywho its really bad for us when we protest and boycott one of our very own Org’s…..

Public officials need to hold themselves to a higher standard. It’s really as simple as that. This isn’t the biggest deal in the world, but does show a kind of prejudicial way of thinking that would be unacceptable were the denigrated class, say, women or African-Americans.
He should simply apologize and then the 24-hour news cycle would move on. If he doesn’t, that refusal then becomes the problem — as it should.

also are we mad because we were call queer or fruitloops, just wonder since we have a gay group in Raleigh Call Fruitcakes…

i just love how we can get so outrage over the smallest things. I would be more upset if he said this to the press or sent the email to the press himself. However it was a personal email to his fellow GOP members.

That’s right we don’t care, it was said/type and now he must pay….

Queer,, how many times have we used the word, movies and other items.. use both way in term good and bad… Its time for the LGBT community to grow the F-up

I’m sure that we all used degrading words and terms when we get mad..
