Clinton to speak in Uptown Charlotte on Monday

CHARLOTTE — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and daughter Chelsea Clinton will speak Monday, April 28 at the Time Warner Cable Arena (formerly the Bobcats Arena) in Uptown Charlotte. Doors will open at 4 p.m. The rally begins at 6 p.m.
The Charlotte event will be attended by Clinton Campaign Chairman Terry McAuliffe, former Rock the Vote president Jehmu Greene, Rev. Marcia Dyson, Founder of EMILY’s List Ellen Malcom and “Women for Hillary” and campaign senior advisors Ann Lewis and Judy Lichtman.
The Campaign has originally scheduled the event to be at the Square, at the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets. Weather reports call for a 60 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms Monday.
Paid and free, general admission tickets for next Monday’s rally are now available online and at Charlotte-area North Carolina for Hillary offices. Additional Charlotte-area sites will have free, general admission tickets available starting today. A complete list with addresses follows.
