Family Day Comments

Encourage your child's creative side by participating in special hands-on art activities and museum tours during Family Day at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art  Saturday, November 10 from noon to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free for children 18 and under; adults receive a discounted ticket price of $4.  Art activities will illustrate the methods and materials addressed by artists Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee and Alexander Calder. Children ages 5 and older can create wire-frame portraits, oil pastel drawings and Picasso-inspired Cubist "funny face" portraits. Interact with art in the collection by participating in a museum-wide scavenger hunt and family-focused tour.
