A Charlotte man has sued New Birth Charlotte with allegations that its bishop, Eddie Long, coerced him into a sexual relationship when he was 17, The Associated Press reported. Long has vowed to fight the allegations.

North Carolina’s annual Pride Fest and Parade is set for Saturday, Sept. 25 on the East Campus of Duke University. As always, expect plenty of vendors, outlandish costumes and parade floats and plenty of parade onlookers.
