Season’s greetings, kids! Here we are with Thanksgiving and Hanukkah behind us and Christmas and Kwanzaa and the New Year coming at us fast. And. never forget to add in Miss Della’s birthday in there, too. My older (never old) ass was 46 on the 18th. Oh boy, what trouble was I able to find to welcome another year? Let’s see!

As I sit down to write another tardy Drag Rag, it occurs to me, as it does every once in a while, that I have not rounded up much tea this time. It seems the pageantry calendar is dry about this time, with the exception of a few tidbits. Pageant enthusiasts notice this every once in a while and it seems like it happens before and after the holidays. Don’t ask me why!

Well, kids, you know the drill — we’ve been doing this for a long time and we’re here to chat about pageants and the queens who win them. And, those who almost win them, too, I guess.

My dear readers, we gather once more, as we have for 16 years now, to get updates on pageantry tea and such. It has been a busy time since the last one, for sure. I hope you all noticed or know that the last Rag was so blessed long that it appeared online only — and not in print.

It’s Miss Della here with a quick little ditty, long overdue (months actually!) about what’s going on with Don’t H8 pageantry.

Boys and girls! Happy Pride and national conventions and all that other jazz. What a busy summer, but it’s just about over and Miss Della is so pleased to see drag-friendly weather just around the corner. Let me start shaving now. LOL

Oh, guys and gals, it’s that time of the month again when we talk pageantry. Time just flies, even when you’re not having fun, but staying busy regardless.

Well, kids — while I write this dittie, it’s hot as hell in the Queen City. Here we are, having celebrated July 4th and I needed some independence from the humidity, by golly! No thinking of drag for me until November now, okay?

Oh, boys and girls, here we are all over again. How many times have I said that over the past 15+ years? And, here we are still carrying on. Did you see my responses to the 20 Questions in the most recent qnotes?

Greetings, kiddies. Here I am, burning the midnight oil again, trying to get another Rag “in the e-mail” before I get fired from a volunteer job. Ha! Worse things have happened, so…

Oh, my gosh — let’s see what I can mess up this time! I must have been tapping away while I was falling asleep that last time — all this talk about going to the formers show in Hickory for Miss NC U.S.of A., and didn’t even mention the results! Saywhat? Seems like I missed something else, too — I’ll figure it out shortly.

Hey everybody — here I am working on another late submission of the Rag. Just as I promised before, we get a promo of Luscious, the only Carolinian to win Miss Gay U.S.ofA. Too bad it’s 10 months into her reign.

Greetings, gentle readers — is that love in the air I sense, or just Latino sweat from the nearby soccer field? LOL! I hope this finds everyone doing well in this second month of 2012 (Leap Year, no less!)

Well, Happy New Year, kiddies. My, my, my — 2012 is off to a great start. Life is truly great and I’m ready for some good drag and some good pageantry as well.
