2011’s Pride Charlotte Festival seeks volunteers

A few days ago, Pride Charlotte Co-Chair Dave Webb, sent out a major press release concerning this year’s 2011 Pride Charlotte Festival.  Although there’s a few months to go before we can party it up in the streets, organizers are building up their task force now to prepare for what is sure to be the most successful festival yet. With an anticipated 12,000 attendees and a new, central location in Uptown Charlotte, the Pride organization needs volunteers now more than ever.

How can you help? Pride needs pre-festival marketers, event organizers, set up and tear down teams, as well as actual event staff to greet attendees, hydrate the masses, keep the streets clean, and help out with entertainment, finances, and other details. To register as a volunteer, simply visit the Pride Charlotte website or email the volunteer chair at riley@pridecharlotte.com
