Charlotte’s WFAE takes a short, behind-the-scenes look (h/t Charlotte News Alliance) at the lights atop Uptown’s Duke Energy Center. The building has amazed since it first lit up. Special events, like Carolina Panthers games and this year’s Pride Charlotte, have provided the building with fun light displays.

But not all groups get such a special privilege. WFAE’s Krissa Palmer reports that one anti-choice group was denied when it asked for the building’s light to be turned completely off.
