WILMINGTON, N.C. — New Out Wilmington (NOW) will hold their The 2011 Winter Ball Charity Event on Dec. 10 at Cameron Art Museum, 3201 S. 17th St.

Live entertainment, gallery viewings and a four-course dinner will highlight the festivities. Dress is semi-formal.

Proceeds will be donated to Good Shepherd Center, 811 Martin St. Monies raised will aid homelessness and provide food for the hungry.

Also, additional funds will go toward scholarships for students enrolled at Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW).

Performances will be provided by Justin Rudolph, FireSpinner, Creative Flame Company and others.

Tickets are $50 for non-members/$90 couples/$320 eight-ticket bundle and include a free photo upon arrival and a cocktail hour beginning at 6:30 p.m. Members, as well as students enrolled at CFCC or UNCW, receive a discounted ticket. Dinner follows at 7:30 p.m., with entertainment from 9-11 p.m. A free thank you gift will be given to each guest upon departure from NOW. Vegetarian plates are also available with advanced request.
