Local and regional LGBT non-profits have experienced mostly positive growth in revenue and community support over the past several years, according to data reviewed in qnotes’ fifth annual Community Assessment Survey.
The survey is designed to gauge community organizations’ financial health and measure their commitment to transparency. This year, qnotes reviewed 18 non-profit organizations based in the Carolinas and doing the bulk of their work in the region.
In addition to our usual annual reporting, the newspaper looked at six-year data for five organizations and delved into research on the giving patterns of major donors.
