CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Campus Pride and GLSEN have announced that they will hold a National Online College Fair & Prep Day on March 19, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
The live broadcast and chat section of the event will take place from 1:30-6 p.m. Registration is available online.
Additionally, registration is now open for the Camp Pride 2015 & Advisor Bootcamp being held from July 14-19 in Charlotte. Discount rates end on April 30.
Campus Pride is in the process of collecting information for its Campus Pride Index and Sports Index. Schedule for launch this spring, it provides a vital tool for assisting campuses in learning ways to improve their LGBT campus life and, ultimately, shape the educational experience to be more inclusive, welcoming and respectful of LGBT and allied people, organizers said.
Assessments are due by March 31. This is 2.0 version of the Index and the inaugural season for the Sports Index. To learn more about how the indices will benefit campuses, a free webinar will be held on Feb. 19 and Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. Registration is available online.
