CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Katherine Drew with Corrigan & Johnston, a casting company with studios in the Queen City at 3006 N. Davidson St., is seeking anyone in a same-sex relationship who has adopted a child or children and are willing to share their story for a national commercial.

She will be conducting in-person and Skype interviews during this weekend, so expedience is important for those who wish to audition.

Interested parties are asked to submit an email telling Drew one’s story in a few sentences and on what types and brands of devices those memories are captured.

Those who are cast will have to be available for a one-day shoot between April 2-4. The location has yet been determined, but expenses will be paid if travel is required. Payment ranges between $600-700 for the preliminary shoot and additional compensation will be paid if one appears in the final commercial. Rates are paid according to Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists union talent guidelines. One does not have to belong to either organization to participate.
