closetcaseRALEIGH, N.C. — A “Closet Case” movie information gathering is set for Nov. 8, 11:30 a.m., at the LGBT Center of Raleigh, 324 S. Harrington St. Themes center around equality in society and the workplace, anti-bullying in schools and more.

Hosts for the event are filmmaker, writer, director and producer Anthony L. Williams and Jaci Field.

Participants will be able to learn more about the film’s progress (being shot in the Triangle area) as they are introduced to the cast and crew for drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Opportunities to become part of the filmmaking process will be shared, such as becoming an extra, continuity support and ambassadors who can spread the word about the film to deter inequality and bullying.

The movie has the support of the center, Millennia Scope Entertainment Foundation and the Tyler Clementi Foundation.

Mellenia Scope is a non-profit organization that supports Independent filmmakers of LGBT” media (film and television).

The Tyler Clementi Foundation promotes safe and inclusive spaces for LGBT and vulnerable youth and families. They speak in schools, churches and workplaces to avert youth crisis.
