Community takes HB2 stand

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Gay Asheville NC has taken a different strategy to standing up to HB2. Instead of boycotts, they are asking businesses, service providers and those who offer accommodations who object to and wish for the repeal of HB2 to email Gay Asheville and let them know.

In turn they will provide a list on their website as a counter measure to those who are boycotting from outside the state.

Their philosophy is: We believe that the more positive response to businesses wishing the repeal of HB2, the more pressure they will assert to the legislature to do so.
