RALEIGH — The Better Than Ice Cream LGBT Meetup Group has just formed.

It is for open-minded ladies who like to have fun. It is targeted at bi-curious, bisexual, lesbian and transgender women as a vehicle for socializing in a non-judgmental environment.

The group is private and for members only.

The first event will be on March 25 at Bogart’s American Grill, 510 Glenwood Ave. at 7 p.m.

On March 27, dance the night away at Club Steel Blue in Durham. Those who attend will meet at 9 p.m. at the bar.

On March 30, plans are underway for a happy hour get together at The Borough in Raleigh at 6:45 p.m. Wind down after a day at work.

CHAPEL HILL — The GBLT Chocolate Affair Meetup will be supporting a reggae relief concert for Haiti on March 27 at Cat’s Cradle, 300 E. Main St. at 8:30 p.m.

The event will host over 10 reggae artist / bands, arts and crafts, Caribbean food and more.

Cost is $10.

RALEIGH — The Raleigh LES Girls Meetup will be hosting an afternoon of bowling on April 3 at AMF Capital Lanes, 1827 Capital Blvd. at 2 p.m.

Later that evening they will hope over to the CC (Capital Corral), 313 W. Hargett St. at 10 p.m. for some party time while they dance, socialize and meet and greet on another. Don’t want to come alone? Then bring whomever you wish.
