It’s all in the family
RALEIGH — Equality NC (ENC) is collecting narratives about the unique nature of LGBT families for its “Celebrating Our Families” blog. This new project aims to bring together stories from every sector of the community, as well as from allied North Carolinians.
Photographs may also be submitted.
ENC said, “By sharing these stories, we recognize that families are the most important dimension behind public policies. Our families are all different, but our shared experiences bring us closer together.”
To see what others are already sharing, visit encfamilies.blogspot.com.
Written submissions will be accepted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Video recordings (with a webcam or camera) should be uploaded to YouTube, with a link emailed to Matthew directly so he can post this on the blog site.
In other news, ENC and its Foundation recently welcomed Jason Burgess and John Wood (ENC) and Michael Woods and Dr. Jack McKinney (ENCF) to its boards. To learn more about these volunteers, visit equalitync.org/news1/taking-the-lead.
