SBF Seeking author appearing at LGBT Center of Raleigh library celebration Comments

La Toya Hankins, a�former�Charlotte�resident, will help celebrate the one year anniversary of the LGBT Center of Raleigh's library with a reading and book signing of her debut novel, SBF Seeking. The book eloquently shows the personal journey and surprising self-discovery of a young black lesbian, growing up in eastern North Carolina. Set in Raleigh, the book takes the reader across the state of North Carolina with stops in Grifton, Greensboro, and Charlotte during the CIAA weekend. To learn more about the author, visit

SBF Seeking is one of the over 2,000 volumes housed in the LGBT Center of Raleigh's library, the largest LGBT community library in North Carolina.
