Kids and teens, unfold bookmaking possibilities! Alumna artist April Marten (Summer 2018) will virtually teach 11 to 16 year-old students the art of books from creation to transformation. Students will learn fundamental stitching techniques to make and bind their own books, and how to transform existing books into unique art objects. Alumna artist HNin Nie (Fall 2019) will virtually teach 11 to 16 year-old students how to create original comic book strips by developing their own characters and using creative storytelling.
