From all of us at Equality North Carolina, Happy LGBTQ History Month! With Election Day looming and our nation experiencing unimaginable crisis, it can feel strange to celebrate anything right now.
Today, Biden for President NorthCarolinaannounced its has put together a LGBTQ Leadership Council, a part of the national OUT for Biden program. The Council will work to elevate the diverse voices of the LGBTQ community across the Tar Heel state.
With less than 50 days between us and the most important election of our lifetimes, we’re kicking into high gear at Equality North Carolina (ENC).
organizations across the U.S. and region — Equality North Carolina Action Fund PAC (ENCAFPAC), The Victory Fund (VF), Emily’s List (EL), Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Democracy for America (DA) and Replacements, Ltd. PAC (RLPAC) — have also made their selections and will be included in the endorsees list below.

It’s hard to overemphasize the importance of the elections this year taking place across our state. From the entire North Carolina General Assembly to the Governor’s Mansion to your local Board of Education, the number of races on this year’s ballot is nothing short of massive. Not to mention our congressional and presidential contests.
