It’s that time of the year when the LGBTQ community sets out to celebrate Pride Month. To keep the tradition going, here is a list of the celebrations taking place all over the Carolinas.
The premiere film screening of the documentary “Grief Journeys” will take place on June 16, the Triangle Gay Men’s Chorus will present their “Journey to the Past” spring concert on June 2, the Triangle Empowerment Project has invited the community to “Ignite Durham! ‘Are we PrEP-ared?’ on June 25, the Triangle Expo for LGBTQ Aging Adults will be held on June 23 and Village Hearth Cohousing is seeking participants to fill the last four units of its residential project.
Lea Michele and Darren Criss are Carolina bound, Stan Kimer received the LGBTQIA Alum of the Year Award from Georgia Institute of Technology, Triangle Empowerment Center will hold its Power of Love cocktails and couture event on June 9 and Durham County Library’s Adult and Humanities Programming will present The Human Library-Durham on June 2.
