Chair of Charlotte Black Pride (CBP), Shann Fulton, was born in Savannah, Ga. and grew up in different areas of South Carolina’s Low Country. In 2013, Fulton relocated to Charlotte from Columbia, S.C., and has been an active member of the community ever since.
Greenville, S.C. native Ivy Hill is the community health program director for Campaign for Southern Equality (CSE) and has been on the frontlines in the fight for LGBTQ equality in the South since joining the CSE team as LGBTQ rights toolkit coordinator in 2015.
Pennsylvania native Dr. Jay Hreiz is a practicing veterinarian and owner of Queen City Animal Hospital (QCAH) in Charlotte, N.C. and says he is grateful for the opportunity to provide a warm and welcoming environment with excellent veterinary care to members of the community.
Alongside his team, real-estate broker Matt Stone is providing the community in Charlotte, N.C. with an outlet to LGBTQ-friendly home buying, which has often been challenging to find for those in our community.
Darlington, S.C. native Dawn Pugh is a local realtor and certified luxury home marketing specialist. After finding her niche in newly-renovated and constructed residential properties, Pugh established the Dawn Pugh Team real-estate brand by joining Victoria Green and Joe O’Meara.
Peyton-Namir Johnson, 20, is doing his part in the LGBTQ community by serving on Time Out Youth Center’s (TOY) Youth Senate leadership team, whose primary purpose is to ensure that the center’s youth have a platform to share their ideas and to voice any concerns they may have.
Cory Davis joined One Voice’s LGBTQIA and allied chorus in the summer of 2019 as their new artistic director. Davis is a career musician with 12 years of experience in choral conducting as well as having a background in non-profit development and management.
