Well, summer is rapidly coming to an end. The school year is almost here, summer vacations have come and gone and Christmas is only four months away.

First and foremost, I’d like to say congratulations to Jason Collins and Robbie Rodgers on becoming the first openly gay active athletes in the NBA and MLS, respectively.
It is that time of year when the temperatures in the Carolinas start heating up and so does the local sports action. This edition is rugby heavy, so put your scrum cap on, lace up your boots and get ready to get your fill of the barbarian game played by gentlemen.
